Recall reports in the international news of how the people of Sri Lanka are suffering.  Truly a disaster happening to that nation. Another example of suffering from green policies. The Sri Lanka president, after banning the importation and use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides has cause disastrous effects -- with crippling food shortages, scant crop yields, imports at higher prices, and folks can't afford to eat.  Now that Sri Lanka president has fled the country and resigned, he has left behind 20 million people of that island nation to be suffering miserably.

Now comes reports from the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Poland and Canada, of similar objections to curtailments of fertilizers for the farmers.

The Dutch government's new nitrogen limits require farmers to radically curb their nitrogen emissions by up to 70 percent in the next eight years.
