How did this fall short? I'm glad you asked.
Like the NY Times is ignoring the many demonstrations of Trump's love of this country, its citizens, its first responders. And so many people love him back. Also love as seen during Prez T's TV interviews, in the week leading up to the 9/11 Saturday. Cheers and applause from those police and fire fighters. Cheers for Trump at a college football game. Cheers and chants for Trump at the Holyfield fight, last evening. But crickets from the NY Times & lib reporters. Their bias, even hate showing thru. Selective reporting, falling short of what's going on. People are now distrustful of those sources, and are looking for the rest of the story. Getting to know fake news, when they see it. Hit pieces have become rather obvious. Often taking things out of context. Deceptive editing to change meanings. Consulting only one side for their versions/ viewpoints. Failing to verify with several sources to weed out distortions & to add balance. For example --Why would there be critics of Prez T's video commemorating 9/11? A beautifully done piece. Showing his sympathy, love and understanding of what 9/11 meant to the nation. Critics are displaying petty bias. Again falling short. Missing the video's central message. All comes under the category of Fake News. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Tom wrote: No surprise that DeBlasio & NY Dems would omit inviting Trump to ceremonies. I sent you an article that indicated that Trump was notified of the event and declined to attend. You replied: Another hit piece from the NY Times. Up to their usual slanted writings. And they've got plenty of allies in the Media. You likely realize those reports don't move conservatives even an inch closer toward Dems, or to any middle ground. Nice try, but totally falls short. How did this fall short? Then you continued with unrelated, biased stuff. You never responded to the fact that Trump bragged that after 9/11 his building was once again the tallest in Manhattan. |
