Subject: Jan 6 Truths emerging Msg# 1135695
YES there's plenty of videos of the violence. Media has been running all those, to the hilt. And that violence is totally wrong and should be prosecuted. No doubts about that.
Yet there's also plenty of peaceful protestors who were involved. And our own government has for months been covering up those aspects.
Here's some stuff which hasn't received much media coverage.
May 10 report titled: Why Is the Government Hiding January 6 Video Footage? It describes how the govt won't release its 14,000 hours of video from its own systems inside Capitol building from that day Jan 6th. Both media and defense attorneys can't get access to see any of the more peaceful aspects. Defense lawyers have raised objections to the government’s use of “cherry-picked” clips.
In a May 3 letter, lawyers representing CNN, ABC News, the Wall Street Journal and others wrote . “Delayed access to these historic records shuts the public out of an important part of the administration of justice.”
On June 19 , Tucker Carlson said: "Why can't we see the tape for ourselves? The government is hiding more than 14,000 hours of video surveillance tape."
July 24, letter from four congressmen -- report titled: Gosar, Gohmert, Gaetz, MTG [Marjorie Green] Send Letter To DOJ Demanding They Stop Stonewalling Release Of 14,000 Hours Of 1/6 Video
Quote from the report: videos captured on January 6 show Capitol Hill police allowing protesters into the building, and even sanctioning their behavior so long as it remained peaceful. It seems logical to many that the 14,000 hours of surveillance video held by the Department of Justice may prove this incontrovertibly. “Every American citizen has a constitutional right to all the evidence before making any decision to go to trial,” Gosar adds-- "we have asked multiple times for information only to have our inquiries ignored.”
July 30 & Aug 10 --two reports where judges are critical of the prosecutors and the Dept of Justice for delaying attorneys access to those 14,000 hours. There we read the govt is now saying such materials won't be available until early2022. Even that timing appears doubtful, with the govt representative calling it a "conservative" estimate.
Quoting the judge's criticism: Judge Trevor McFadden scolded the government for its backwards process. “You would not arrest [someone] then gather evidence later. That’s not how this works. . . . This does not feel what the Constitution [and] the Speedy Trial Act envisions.”
Two other judges quotes: Judge Amit Mehta also reminded prosecutors about their obligations under the Brady rule, which requires the disclosure of evidence favorable to the defendant. Judge Emmet Sullivan warned prosecutors he would “seriously consider some sanctions” unless the discovery system isn’t online within the next 30 days.
I'd say its obvious the govt is stonewalling [also congressmens' words] Getting the worst examples out to the public, as well as subduing & hiding any peaceful aspects. At the same time the govt is ignoring the principle of speedy trials. Also they they are trampling all over the accused folks rights to see exculpatory evidence.
Some folks at home saw police holding open the outside doors to the Capitol on that day's live TV reports, they saw for themselves quite a number of peaceful citizens. That peaceful percentage of peaceful protestors deserves to be set free for time served -- 7 1/2 months already. Its the American justice system that needs upholding.
Tarring all those 500 + prisoners with the violent acts of some isn't our America. Whether it be only 10% or as high as 80%, they all deserve access to that video information to support their cases.
Sorry for the lengthy message, but it's a large issue.

There's now video evidence backing the claims -- that police were holding open doors while protestors calmly and peacefully were walking into Congress. Officers were standing aside in the hall, while protestors were calmly walking by, inside the bldg.
...chanting "f*cking traitors" doesn't sound exactly peaceful to me. Does it to you?
This is a very small part of what happened that day. Seems to me as if this isolated incident was coordinated with Trump-supporting officers. It certainly was not representative of what happened at the major entrances to the building.
Here is a 40 minute video that shows a more complete picture of what happened that day. There was extreme violence and destruction perpetuated on behalf of Donald Trump. Please watch the entire video of what happened that day. Please let me know if you think that these ?people? are peaceful protesters walking through the Capitol like tourists.
[The video you posted was not blocked. Sorry it didn't meet your coverup conspiracy theory.]
