With Clinton on your list about speaking un-reasonably, I'd think back to Bill's infamous comment: Depends on what the meaning of "IS" is.
Great example of political double speak. An all time classic. Maybe reminds us of the old saying: How do you tell when politicians are lying -- Its when their lips are moving. Exceptions are Scalise and Pompeo -- top drawer, straight talkers. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Let's take it from the bottom: I know Andy Harris slightly. He and I went to the same NYC high school (Regis) although quite a few years apart and we've had a couple of conversations. (As did Tony Fauci who was two years behind me and was a much better basketball player than I.) Steve Scalise is a pleasure to listen to, calm and reasonable as is Pompeo. Cruz?? not so much. To fill in the presidential gaps in my tolerance scale: Unreasonable; Nixon, LBJ, Carter, Clinton, Obama, Trump, Biden Reasonable; Eisenhower, Ford, Reagan, Bush 1 &2 |
