For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: If the tradeoff is no more rioting, I'd take that deal. In a New York minute. Also throw in -- no more kneeling during the Star Spangled Banner -- and that's more progress. [although symbolic] As ironic as it may be to be saying these kinds of tradeoffs. I'll still be watching those games, but being careful to skip the preliminary ceremonies. Reminds me of being young & playing football in junior college. You might say I'm hooked on Sunday NFL football. Recall the days of Unitas to Berry. Then there was Alan the Horse Ameche, Gino Marchetti & Artie Donovan. More recently Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. And the youngster Justin Tucker. All-Stars imbedded in history. Any more favorites, anyone? |
