As a follow up. A nearby neighbor, Donovan Brinson, who got these events on his garage security camera said he: reviewed the 26-second video from his surveillance camera and concluded that Bryant [the assailant] may have fatally stabbed multiple bystanders had the officer not acted immediately to stop the threat.
Another neighbor said: “She [the assailant] was in full attack mode. . . was literally aiming a knife at this young lady. . . . She needed to be stopped at that point. That young lady’s life was at stake,” |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Here we go again. Click Here Both in its visual coverage and the audio, NBC news has deceptively edited the Columbus, Ohio, story of the fatal shooting to stop stabbing attempts. NBC left out the video part where assailant was carrying the knife. Also NBC left out where the 911 caller says come quickly because a girl was “trying to stab us.” I think your media sources were likely better and did show the knife in the girl's hand as she is pursuing the other girl in pink. I saw that image -- knife in her hand-- last evening And your sources likely include those phoned in words “trying to stab us.” Other sources also carried a photo of the butcher knife on the ground nearby after the policeman had shot the assailant girl. If I recall, the proper police response is -- where there's a deadly threat, police would be using deadly force in stopping that threat. Here's a Cornell Law School excerpt --
