The cruel joke is that HR-1 have so many voting rights abuses built in, that such description is overcome by all the variety of detracting provisions.
Which is why there's been such sharply worded criticisms -- like calling it -- "Written In Hell By The Devil Himself’ So much variety of things being discussed as wrong with the voting provisions of HR-1-- that public is distracted from the problems with the campaign finance provisions. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Did you miss the point that HR1 and your phrasing -- boosting transparency around campaign finance and expanding voting rights -- are one and the same thing ?. I didn't understand what was wrong with HR1 supporting transparency around campaign finance and expanding voting rights |
